Abstract:
The influence of f iring orders on v ibration characterist ics and dispersion of fire of Mult iple Launch Rocket System ( MLRS) was analyzed. The method to improve the dispersion of f ire by opt imizing the firing orders w as presented. By using transfer mat rix method of mult-i body system and launch dynamics theory, the relat ions between the firing orders and performance of MLRS were established. T he vibrat ion characterist ics and dispersion corresponding to different f iring orders of MLRS w ere numerically simulated. The simulat ion results show that the vibrat ion characterist ic and dispersion of fire corresponding to different f iring orders of MLRS are different. The study provides a direct method to improve the dispersion of f ire by optimizing the firing orders.
