Abstract:
This paper discusses the recognization process of the concept of f iring stability for machine gun. T he f iring stability is divided into three basis principles, namely, absolute stability principle, relat ive stability principle and dynamic-state stability principle. T he relat ive stability is mainly studied in this paper. Two kinds of mechanical models for relative stability are set up. Some relat ive elements about keeping firing stable are analysed and compared. An example of applying relative stability principles in a new weapon is presented.
