Abstract:
An object ive used in a total station w ith small telephoto rat io and long back focal length ( BFL) of its posit ive front component w as designed w ith ZEMAX sof tw are. Some problems of choosing it s configuration, gett ing each component. s pow er and the numerical relationship of the negat ive component. s moving distance and the object distance w ere invest igated. T he focal length of this objective is 250 mm, but total length only 142 mm. In this object ive, the BFL of its posit ive f ront component is more than 95 mm and its nearest object distance is 2 m. T he BFL is cont rolled with the operand w rit ten in ZEMAX prog ram languag e. The results show that the designed object ive has very small telephoto rat io and it s aberrat ions are ef fect ively calibrated.
