Abstract:
A mult-i objective optimization model based on workflow cost and workshop acreage of facility layout is proposed.According to the characteristic of workshop layout, a hybrid genetic algorithm, which incorporates Cerebellar Model Articulation Controller ( CMAC) and Genetic Algorithms,was designed to solve this model. The algorithm has the capability of sel-f learning and sel-f adaptation. An example of 12-facility layout opt imizat ion was given. The result proves that the algorithm can optimize the facility layout by using the given sample data.
