Abstract:
The generalized Aronhold-Kennedy theorem for solving instant center velocity ( the moving velocity of instant center position) of planar linkages and the instant center velocity chart is intro duced. The isomorphic relationship between instant center velocity chart and instant center chart is in dicated. Finally, the methods to find all instant center velocities and the shortest path leading to any instant center velocity of a mechanism using square adjacent matrices are explained.
