Abstract:
Based on the theory of transient flow, and with the multiscal technique and the Chapman-Enskog expansion, this paper proved that Lattice Boltzmann Equation( LBE) with the friction additional term could be used to simulate the transient flow of long-distance pipeline. According to the flow characteristic of long-distance pipeline, the proper descript ion of equilibrium equat ion was chosen. In the theory and field test, the feasibility of applying LBE to transient flow equation in long-distance pipeline is verified.
