Abstract:
In ferrography image recognition, the conglutinat ion o fw ear particles does not keep w ear part-i cles in orig inal shape after b inary im age segmentat ion. M athemat icalmorpho logy is introduced to ferrography w ear particle image segmentat ion. How to implement binary image segmentat ion by using erosion and dilation a lgorithm w as studied, and the edge o f sing lew ear particle w as successfully detected w ith Lap lacian. The result proves the method used in the ferrography image segmentation is effective and helpfu l to realize the auto recognition of w ear particles.
