through-the-w all surveillance detector sinusoidal f requency modulat ion spread spect rum
According to the characteristic of Through-the-Wall Surveillance ( TWS) , a novel TWS detector scheme is proposed w hich is based on sinusoidal f requency modulat ion and spread spect rum technolog ies. The experimental system is established, and some experiments are accomplished. When a person behind a thick brick w all of a 40 centimetres and the detector is 5 meters aw ay, the system can still f ind living signals of human beings. The experimental results show the ef fectiveness of the proposed scheme.
