Abstract:
Aiming at the quick and exact fault location problem in the distribution network, this paper researches the matrix arithmetic of fault locat ion in the distribution network. It analyses the principle of the dissymmet ry matrix arithmetic and finds the limitat ion that it has a distinguishing blind area at the bottom of the network. Aiming at the limitation, this paper puts forw ard the improvement of adding zero nodes coding at the bottom of the radial network and the t ree network. This algorithm is of simpleness and real time, and has high applicability in distribution automation system. This paper gives some examples to prove the validity of the ameliorat ive arithmetic. The results of these examples indicate that the advanced arithmetic can overcome the limitat ion of the dissymmetry matrix arithmetic and eliminate the distinguishing blind section.
