Abstract:
The synthesis of t ransit ional metal x anthates and their single crystal st ructures w ere studied. T he complex of ( O-sec.-butyldithiocarbonatio-S, S. ) copper (Ⅰ ) w ith triphenylphosphine was synthesized by solvat ion and its single crystal was obtained by evolut ion. The complex w as characterized by elementary analysis , FT-IR and 1 HNMR. T he crystal structure w as determined by single crystal X-ray dif fract ion. The Cu atom is four-coordinat ion, and it is coordinated by tw o sulfur atoms from xanthate salt and two phosphorus atoms from triphenylphosphine. Thermograr-i met ric analysis show ed that the complex decomposed from 210 ℃to 240 ℃ . The rate of w eight lessness was 87. 6 %. The surplus matter was Cu2S, w hich proved the copper atom in the single crystal w as one valence。
