In v iew of the difference betw een the gunpo int speed o f a underw ater gun and the max ima l speed of the a fter-e ffect period, the classical interior ballistics arithmet ic is not ava ilab le. The interior ba llist ics model is established for underw ater gun. The prob lems are ana lyzed in in terio r ballist ics calcu lat ion. An innovat ivemethod is put forw ard that the corre lation ana lysis is used in in terio r ballist ics calcu lat ion for underw ater gun. The calau lation examp le ind icates that the range of the coincident parameters is reduced and the calcu lation precision of the model is improved. It brings fo rw ard a new method for the gun interior ballist ics ca lculat ion.
