Abstract:
B ased on the idea of finite segments, themu lt-i bodymodel o f a barre l is estab lished as th is: A barre l is div ided into som e rig id segments, w h ich are linked by massless beams at the center of mass. Force andmom ent are ca lculated based on the beam theory of T imoshenko. The variation o f the barre l. s sect ion along the ax is is considered. Mu lt-i body dynam ic equations of a barre l are formulated by app ly ing the Lagrange equations o f the f irst k ind. The dynam ic analysis of a certain gun is g iven as an example. The resu lts indicate that themu lt-i bodymodel can be used to calcu late themuzzle of a barre l and describe the v ibrat ion of the barrel.
