Abstract:
Based on the m icrocosm ic characters o f heterogeneous materia ls and the part icle kinemat ics theory, the basic dynam ic equations of the movab le cellu lar automata (MCA ) method for describ ing the heterogeneous materials damage w ere estab lished. Movement and forces of automata pa irs w ere ana lyzed on the basis of sma ll elastic-p last ic deformat ions theory, and the constitutivemodel inMCA w as buil.t Using th is algo rithm, the damage and fracture process o f heterogeneous ceram ic ZrO2materials under impact loading w as num erically simu lated, and the stress-strain curve of the simu lation specim en w as obta ined.
