Abstract:
In order to ascerta in stress concentration factor of a member, the approx imate expression o f strain can be estab lished in the reg ion o f stress concentrat ion by using the e lastic theory prov iding them ember is pred igested suitably. As a result o f some assumpt ions, the expression can reflect the basicmodel o f the strain, but it doesn. t completely consist w ith the rea l state of the m ember. So it can be used for a structure of the stra in model and the coefficients in the stra in model can be fixed by mak ing use o f the measured data. Themodels can reflect all the factors of the real structure and on ly need a few measured data. From several strain measurements o f members, such as a tension p late w ith only a hole, or double troughs and a torsion shaft w ith a ho le, themethod is effective.
