Abstract:
This paper addresses the process of PVC polymerization and puts forward a multiple-model predictive functional control based on the particularity of PVC polymerizat ion kettle temperature. The multiple-model predictive functional control divides the controlled area into mult iple sub-areas, each of which corresponds to an appropriate model and a controller. The strategy improves the traditional predict ive functional control application. In terms of the increasing and holding temperature process of PVC, this paper uses a double-model, which can fit process parameter change. The algorithm is implemented in the SUPCON-JX300X distributed control system through its SCX language. The results show the control strategy algorithm is simple, easy to operate in control systems, and prospective in application.
