Abstract:
Measurement and analysis of national Gen Ⅱ and Gen  Ⅲ LLLimaging intensifiers were carried out using a spectral response measurement instrument. On-line measurement of NEA photo-cathode in activation platform after high-temperature activation and low-temperature act ivat ion was carried out successfully. The integral sensit ivity and spectral response performance parameters of the photo-cathode were obtained. This shows that the cathode sensit ivity after low temperature activation is enhanced by 29% than that after high temperature activation and that the cu-t off wavelength has little movement to long wave. Through computing the cathode parameters it was found that the surface electronic escape probability is enhanced 25% after low temperature act ivat ion than after high temperature activation. The main reason why the cathode sensitivity is enhanced is that the structure of cathode film surface was optimized through the low temperature activation.
