Abstract:
This paper explores f illing feasibility of modified dolomite-attapulgite ( a nature compound filling) in boot surface rubber andmakes a mechanics test and a microstructure analysis on filled samples. The experimental results indicate that the f illing volume of dolomite-attapulgite modified by stearic acid increases, reaching 110 g/ 100 g rubber, and the filling is very compatible in boot surface rubber with shortening filling t ime. The mechanism performance is improved greatly after filling treatment, and the sample is more smooth and glossy. Compared with the light calcium carbonate, the rupture elongate rat io and the intension of tensile, 300%modulus at definite elongation and adhesive can increase by 57. 8% , 100% , 5. 5% , 16%, respectively.
