Abstract:
Considering the netw orked control system s ( NCS ) w ith t ime-vary long delays, a design method o f feedback contro ller and observerw ith de lay compensa tion is discussed. An open-loop observer and a close-loop observer are proposed to pred ict the current states of plant based on the cond it ions of data arriva,l and the con tro ller. s inputs are sw itched betw een the state of the open-loop observer and the close-loop observer. In this scheme, theNCS ismode led as a sw itched system and a co-design method of the observer and con tro ller is g iven in terms of linear matrix inequalit ies ( LM Is) . Fina lly, an examp le is g iven to va lidate that themethod can obtain better performance than those w ithout de lay compensation.
