A mob ile-agen-t based w eb service composit ion framework (MAWSCF) is proposed. In th is paper, / Plann ing (P ) 0 is de fined to spec ify the log ic actions ofmobile agent and the process mapping rules are g iven to convert the spec ification toP. Dur ing the runn ing tim e, P is expla ined as the behav iors o f agents by match ing a lgorithm s, so that the task described by the specif ication is ach ieved correctly. Compared w ith the trad it iona lWSC Mode ls, MAW SCF avo ids the perfo rmance bottleneck of center peer by peer-to-peer ( P2P) approach. Through clon ing, mobile agents achieve the sub-tasks in para lle,l w hich raises eff ic iency greatly.
