Abstract:
In order to investigate the mechan ica l behavior of steel reinforced concrete beams, e ight steel re inforced concrete beams which containH stee l are tested. The test resu lts show: ( 1) The craze moment of stee l re inforced concrete beam is independent of bond force, st irrups and shear connectors. ( 2)The steel reinforced concrete beam has better ductility and shear fa ilure occurs w hen stirrups are less. ( 3) The bond fo rce has an obv ious effect on load-carrying capacity and rig idity o f stee l reinforced concrete beam. ( 4)The slippage appears at load anaphase and rapid ly increases at ultimate load and is not influenced by shear connectors.
