Abstract:
The handoff in LEO satellite networksmakesTCP protocol retransm it packet blindly, and decline TCP performance. The reasons of retransm itting packet blindly are analyzed. A pre-handoff method is used and an algorithm of routing isproposed to avoid the packet being retransm itted blind- ly. The simulated resultsbyOPNET indicate that the algorithm can efficiently avoid the packet being retransm itted blindly and improve the perform ance of TCP. Themethod has good compatibility w ith the Internet on the terrestrial network.
