Kevlar fabric ba llistic impact bu llet proo f bbbbaaaa
Tak ing Kevlarmult-i layer tex tile as an impact targe,t ballistic impact tests are conducted by diversified impact subjects. The bu llet proof mechan ism of the tex tile is analyzed from apparent andm icro aspec.t It is concluded that the fabric failure appears in different patterns if the impact sub jects are in d ifferent shapes and at different speeds. Them icro damaged patterns have elast ic tensile, splitt ing and elastic flow ing. The bullet proo f perfo rmance of the text ile is researched and the e ffect of the area density and the impact ve loc ity on the performance is revealed. The common equations o f the bu llet proof performance are formed.
