To analyze the system effectiveness of sel-f prope lled ant-i a ir gun system, theoretica lmeans and computing model of system effect iveness analysis of sel-f propelled ant-i air gun system ( SPAAGS) are studied. A ccording to the pow er exponentmodel and the analyt ic hierarchy process, the system e-f fectivenessmodel of SPAAGS is put forw ard by using the basicmodel o f system effect iveness analysis of theW eapon System E ffectiveness Industry Advisory Comm ittee (WSEIAC) . The components and functions of the SPAAGS are discussed in order to deduce the six capacities ( capacity of informat ion, capacity o f f ire contro,l capacity of fire, capacity ofmob ility, capacity of protection, and capac ity o f susta inability) and the ir six power exponent function formu lae. The analysis resu lts o f a type o f SPAAGS indicate that the model can be used to compute the value of system effectiveness o f a SPAAGS and to compare the order of qua lity o f a number o f SPAAGSs or sim ilar weapon systems.
