Abstract:
The large eddy simulation is applied to simulate a 3-D square channel compressible flow around a wall-mounted rectangle cylinder.The calculated results show the formation and the diffusion of eddies around the cylinder.This paper analyzes the construction of flow field with the different Reynolds numbers.It can be found that the eddies on the wall of cylinder are stable in the situation of small Reynolds number and shed easily in the situation of large Reynolds number.The variational construction of flow field is obtained in the different blockage ratios by adjusting the height of the rectangle cylinder.The turbulence is enhanced by increasing blockage ratio.
