Abstract:
To improve the concentration of projectiles,the one dimensional trajectory correctional projectile(TCP) with drag brake is researched.Based on the Newtonian flow theory,a predicting method of drag coefficient for one dimensional trajectory correctional projectile with drag brake is set up.Aerodynamic performance for different structures of drag brakes is studied by simulations and wind tunnel tests.Abilities of adjusted trajectory when a drag brake acts on trajectory in different positions are studied through calculations and firing tests.The calculation results of the aerodynamic coefficients and the adjusted trajectory agree well with experimental results.Research about the aerodynamic structure of a drag brake is useful for design of one dimensional trajectory correction projectile.The predicting methods and results about aerodynamic coefficients of drag brakes and adjusted trajectory can be used as tools or fundamentals to design the projectiles.
