Abstract:
Because of the disadvantages of the current ultra-wideband(UWB) chaotic systems such as inadequate spectrum width,variable bit energy and difficult use in multiple-access communication,a novel UWB chaotic signal generation circuit with a flat bandwidth over 1 GHz is proposed by means of two-level cascading Colpitts circuits.A corresponding FM-DCSK(frequency modulated differential chaos shift keying) UWB system is constructed.The system’s bit-error ratio in the multipath channel is analyzed in theory.The results show that it has a constant bit energy and no need for channel estimation.The receiver can avoid inner-and-inter-symbol interferences,and effectively obtain multipath energy.It is suitable for frequency division multiple access communication system.
