Abstract:
An antenna model with 2 m caliber hanged by a central column and three poles is fabricated to verify the design method for a kind of deployable truss antenna.A non-contact photogrammetric measure system is built on the base of PhotoModeler software packages to measure the parabolic reflector.Surface errors of the reflector calculated by using measurement data and surface error formulations which are deduced based on shallow theory is close to the design value,which shows the design method is suitable for designing an antenna with larger caliber.An antenna with 6 m×2.8 m caliber is fabricated,and a surface precision experiment on this antenna with two attitudes is made.The surface error measured meets the design requirement.
