Abstract:
Considering a scenario of imperfect channel state information(CSI) achieved at the receiver,a new technique is proposed that combines transmit antenna selection and power allocation adaptive for the modified Turbo-BLAST system.At the transmitter,in order to maximize the capacity,the optimal antenna subset is chosen for actual data transmission based on the CSI and appropriate power is allocated to the selected antennas based on the water-filling principle.At the receiver,Turbo idea is used for iterative detection in order to enhance the bit error rate(BER) performance of the whole system.Simulation results show that the proposed method is effective to improve not only the capacity but also the BER performance in the presence of CSI imperfection.
