Abstract:
In order to solve the problems that the catalyst has strong corrosion and high cost in α-furanacrylic esters production,five α-furanacrylic esters are synthesized with α-furanacrylic acid and methanol,ethanol,n-propanol,n-butanol,n-pentanol as raw materials and NaHSO4·H2O as a catalyst.Such factors as the molar ratio of alcohol on acid,the reaction time and the amount of catalyst influencing the yields of α-furanacrylic esters are discussed and the best conditions are obtained.Under the optimum conditions,the yield of α-furanacrylic esters are between 85.2%~95.0%.The NaHSO4·H2O is shown to be an efficient,convenient,low-cost and environmentally benign catalyst for the synthesis of α-furanacrylic esters,and can be reused without significant loss of activity.The structures of these compounds are confirmed by IR,1H NMR and elemental analysis.
