Abstract:
In order to obtain the multilayer metal plates with stable property after welding,the spaces between two metal plates are regulated,an impact plate is added,and the explosive welding experiment on the seven-layer and eleven-layer aluminum plates are done.The multilayer plates are cut and analyzed.The metallographs of the bonding interfaces show that the bonding wave is small and good.The micro-hardness analysis indicates that the hardness near the interface is higher and each welding interface is approximate,concluding that the impact velocity of each layer is similar.The results provide a solution to the problems of how to control the impact velocity and how to make the impact velocity for each layer approximately equal and close to the inferior limit in the explosive welding of multilayer metal plates.
