Abstract:
To improve such properties of the solid horn as the increase of coefficient amplification and the removal rate increase of ultrasonic manufacturing materials,a composite solid horn of 1/2 wavelength is investigated.A finite element software is used to analyse the dynamics of the solid horn.The modal and the harmonic response of the solid horn is analysed.Some important parameters are obtained such as the resonance frequency,the displacement nodal points and amplification coefficients.The longitudinal vibration frequency is 19 769 Hz and the amplification coefficient is 2.27.The research results provide a new and useful method for the design,calibration and analysis of the ultrasonic solid horn.
