Abstract:
To use a set of automatic mechanism to launch high pressure high muzzle velocity armor-piercing bullets and low pressure low muzzle velocity shrapnels generally,the general automata launch technology is researched here.By building dynamic equations with the method of Newton’s second law,the program is developed and solved.The equations first satisfy the launch automatic action of the low pressure low muzzle velocity shrapnels,and analyze and adjust the parameters to optimize the automatic launch action of armor-piercing bullets.The sensitivity of main factors is analyzed,and the collision and chasing issues of bolt and barrel are investigated.The results indicate that the general automata launch technology is feasible and the fire rate is about 210 rounds per minute.The maximum factor influencing the bolt’s displacement is the acceleration ratio,and the better acceleration position is the one where the powder gas impulse is equal to the spring impulse.With the lower counter-recoil velocity of bolt carriers,the smaller collision recovery coefficient and the smaller mass ratio of bolt carrier to barrel,the chasing issue can be easily solved.
