Applying the grey system theory to the design project evaluation of small arms,a decision-making theory for scheme selection of small arms considering the weights of evaluation indexes and grey correlation analysis is studied here in order to realize the wholly rapid and intellectualized design for small arms.Based on the theory,a reference variable changing method for standardized pretreatment of original data and an objective assignment method of weights depending on design variable itself for calculating correlativity of weighted grey correlation model are developed in order to build a more reasonable evaluation index system and integrative evaluation model.The feasibility and practicability of this synthetic method is adequately validated by applying it into the intellectualized scheme evaluation system of a certain small arms.
