Abstract:
In order to evaluate the obstacle surmounting capability for truck-mounted artilleries,with triaxial truck-mounted artillery as its research object,this paper derives momental equilibrium equations and deformation compatibility equations from the front,middle and rear wheels. Moreover, the computational model for the step surmounting is established and two cases are discussed with front-middle axle and middle-rear axle as its focus respectively. Based on the established model and exemplified by a certain triaxial truck-mounted artillery,the variation rule of force on front,middle and rear wheels via different step heights and the variation relations between different step heights and adhesion coefficients are obtained via calculation. The results indicate that the force on real wheel and its adhesion coefficient are greater than those of the middle and front wheels while spanning steps.
