Abstract:
To detect coating stealth air targets,a calculation model of antenna temperature contrast for a radiometer on the ground conically scanning an air target is established.According to the targets above high emissivity ground or low emissivity water in clear days,the antenna temperature contrasts of stealth target and smooth metal target are calculated comparatively.Fixing the 3 mm band radiometer on the ground,hanging the targets at a height of 10 m above cement ground and pool in clear and cloudy days,detecting experiments of the air stealth and smooth metal targets are performed respectively.Calculation and experiment results show that the antenna temperature contrast of stealth targets is larger than that of smooth metal targets.The lower the emissivity under the target is,the larger the difference is.Under the millimeter wave passive detection,the coating absorbent in the surface of a metal target can not hide the target but expose it.
