Abstract:
In view of the problem that the turns count technique can not ensure the optimal distance between burst point and high-speed moving target, the adaptive burst point control technique for turns count air burst fuze is presented here. The technique can adjust the burst opportunity automatically according to the projectile-target motion, and guarantee the distance between burst point and target is optimal for detonation. Taking the projectile-target encounter process of a head-on attack as an example, the principle and implementation method of the adaptive control technique are discussed. Based on the exterior ballistic model of the small caliber antiaircraft artillery, the error changes of distance between burst point and target are simulated at different target speeds and firing ranges. The simulation results show that,when attacking at high-speed moving target, the adaptive control technique has higher control accuracy than the turns count technique and can improve the lethality of the airburst ammunition.
