Abstract:
Considering the coated-propellant can reduce the temperature coefficient of mixed charges, the low temperature sensitivity charge( LTSC) mechanism is studied by the method of theoretical calculation. Through studying the hole-breaking process of the interior hole of the single propellant, broken-hole pressures and broken-hole time of coated-propellants are calculated at different temperatures. The hole-breaking process of a large amount of coated-propellants is analyzed. The laws of broken-hole and increasing burning-area and their simulation calculations are given. All the results show that the burning-area changes of coated-propellants can make up the change of burning-gases caused by the changes of burning-velocity at different temperatures, so the temperature coefficients of mixed propellant charges can be reduced.
