Abstract:
To implement the electromagnetic full-wave analysis of large-scale and cylindrically curved frequency selective surfaces(FSSs),a simplified sub-entire domain(SSED)basis function method is modified.Several kinds of SSED basis functions are obtained column by column.The current distribution on a single element is analyzed with the method of moment(MoM),and is employed as the basis function for the whole array analysis with MoM so that the mutual coupling of elements is considered.The transmission coefficients and radar cross sections(RCSs)of some typical targets are given that agree well with those of a commercial software,which verifies the effectiveness of the modified SSED method.The research results help to the design of curved FSS in engineering applications.
