Abstract:
The stiffness and strength of the naval gun barrel with the cooling liquid layer are studied under the bore pressure.Based on the theories of transient dynamical analysis and fluid-solid interaction and taking the bore pressure as the symmetrical distributed moving load,a numerical calculation model of the naval gun barrel with the liquid layer is established in consideration of the fluid-solid interaction between the liquid layer and the inside/outside surface of the tube.The transient dynamical analysis of the model is done by the ANSYS software.The calculation result shows that the cooling liquid layer can raise the stiffness and strength of the barrel,reduce effectively the horizontal vibration displacement of muzzle when projectiles leave the muzzle and increase the fire density of the naval gun.
