Abstract:
To improve the stiffness of the head frame and decrease the influence of its deformation and vibration on the machining precision,the static/dynamic/thermal simulation and comprehensive optimization of the head frame.Structural weaknesses is identified and improved based on the model analysis.The thermalmechanical coupling simulation of the head frame.The temperature field,total displacement and stress distribution of the head frame are obtained,and the comprehensive optimization solution is proposed.The firstorder natural frequency of the optimal head frame increases by 5.02%,the maximum deformation decreases by 80%,and the maximum stress decreases by 76.5%,while the mass decreases by 5.6%.The static and dynamic stiffness increases,and the thermal stress and strain are improved.This method also provides a reference for simulation and optimization of other key parts.
