Abstract:
For large array antenna systems,a beamforming algorithm is proposed to decrease the large amount of computation and high-rate data transmission in beamforming process.A norm constraint to the weight vector of conventional linearly constrained minimum variance(LCMV)algorithm is applied,and a new variable loading recursive LCMV(VLRLCMV)algorithm is proposed here.The optimal weight vector is obtained by gradient searching.A parallel variable loading recursive LCMV(PVLRLCMV)algorithm is proposed by combining the VLRLCMV algorithm with the partial parallel idea.The proposed algorithm can efficiently enhance the robustness and decrease the computational burden,so that it can satisfy the real time requirement of the system.Theoretical analyses and simulation results demonstrate that only 11N+5 times of complex multiplication are required for weight coefficient updating once,and the output signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio(SINR)is close to the optimal value and independent of the piecemeal way.
