Abstract:
In order to analyze the innovation efficiency differences and their changing trends of provinces in China,based on the data of high-tech industry innovation efficiency from years 2002 to 2011,a convergence model is applied to test in this paper.The main conclusions are:although innovation efficiency of the overall nation and three regions has conditional convergence trends,there is no significant absolute convergence trend in the eastern and western regions.Technological labor capital is the conditional convergence factor for overall national and central region,but high-tech capital accumulation for the eastern region,and technological labor capital and high-tech capital accumulation for the western region.Government subsidies are not the significant regional convergence condition factor for any regions.Therefore,it has important significance on narrow differences between regions through establishing a suitable targeted regional development policy.
