Abstract:
To meet the need of online shape visualization of strip production in the cold-rolled steel industry,a dynamic shape simulation method based on curve/surface fitting with recursive B-spline is proposed.Simulation and application results using the real steel production data show that,the proposed method has the smaller fitting error and the better 3D shape visualization performance,and it can make the shape defect patterns easier to be extracted and be used as a practical tool for shape visualization in real steel rolling processes.
