Abstract:
The modern warfare requires that the howitzer should have the ability of firing correction. In order to improve the firing accuracy of the howitzer,the launch and flight dynamics model of the howitzer is established based on the multibody system transfer matrix method,and the firing dispersion of the howitzer is calculated. The simulation results are in good agreement with the experiment. The gradient of the range,the maximum trajectory height and the drift of the average ballistic trajectory are calculated at different firing angles. The firing correction method based on the impact point of mean is established. The results provide theoretical basis and technical means for improving the firing accuracy of the howitzer.
