Abstract:
The coordination between the urban spatial form and the development mode of urban public transportation system is quantitatively evaluated here. The comprehensive evaluation index of urban spatial form and public transport development is calculated by the traditional principal component analysis(PCA)method. The coordination index between the two systems is calculated using fuzzy mathematics. The correlation between actual and ideal coordination values in the system is regarded as local information,and the directions of the coordination values between systems are regarded as global information,and a method constructing weight is proposed. Taking Changzhou city for example,the coordination between the two systems is analyzed. The experimental results demonstrate the mutual influence between the two systems and point out that the improvement of transportation mode guides the formation and development of urban spatial form.
