Abstract:
In order to improve poor estimating accuracy and long convergence time to affect its stability in the full speed range for a permanent magnet synchronous motor,a sensorless control technology combing high frequency signal injection and adaptive estimation is proposed in this paper. The rotor position and its speed is detected by using a high frequency signal injection method,and the motor is started and controlled by the current-frequency method in a low speed range. The adjustable model based adaptive method is presented to estimate the rotor speed and its control is realized in a high speed range. The estimation error of the rotor initial position is less than 0.3% and that of the rotor speed is 0.7%. Also,the speed error of the motor is less than 0.4%. It shows that the estimating accuracy and steady performance can be guaranteed by using the presented method.
