摘要:
图像质量评价方法在数字图像处理方法的研究中起重要的作用。由于数字图像处理结果的最终接受者是人 ,因此在评价图像质量时必须考虑到人类视觉系统的特性。该文利用小波变换匹配于人类视觉系统的多信道模型的性质 ,结合人类视觉系统的特性 ,通过建立小波变换域中的可视性门限模型 ,给出了一个新的图像质量评价方法。模拟实验表明该方法优于通常的评价方法 ,其测量的失真结果与人对图像质量的主观评价保持良好的一致性
Abstract:
The criter ia of image quality evaluat io n play an important role in digital image pro cessing . Since human being is the f inal receiver of o utput of digital image pr ocessing , the char acterist ics o f human visual system( HVS ) must be incorporated into the criter io n of imag e qual ity ev aluat ion. In this paper , w avelet tr ansform is used because it matches w ell w ith the mult ichannel model of HVS. A new criterion of imag e quality evaluat ion is pro po sed based on the visibility thr esho ld model in w av elet t ransform domain. Result s of experimental stimulat ion are compared w ith one of the ordinary cr iteria, and are show n to be consistent w ith the subject ively perceptual imag e quality .
